Torri Williams was born on Aug. 29, 1986 and grew up in Cedar Park, Texas. He graduated from Leander High School. As a football player at Leander, Torri Williams caught 79 passes for 1,841 yards and 14 touchdowns during his senior season. Rivals.com put him as the 51st best wide receiver in the U.S. He played on three district championship teams over his career.

As a true freshman in 2004, Torri Williams appeared as a reserve or on special teams in 9 games. He made 4 tackles (13 solo, 1 assist), including 1 sack. He suffered a season ending injury in 2005. In 2006 he started the first game, but ruined his knee and was out again. In 2007 he played in 7 games and recorded 17 tackles (11 solo, 6 assists), including 1.5 for loss and 1.0 sack. In 2008 he finally hit his stride, starting all 12 games and becoming an Honorable mention All-Big Ten.

Torri Williams was granted a 6th year of eligibility due to his past injuries. He is now the Purdue Boilermakers football team co-captain.
